Membership: Increased numbers … 20 ?

Bee presentations: The Family School Los Olivos; Lake Cachuma – Nature Center

2016 - It was a very bad year for the following reasons:

Package Bees: almost 100% loss!!

Bee Rescues: The majority were free, with a few exceptions.  The LVBKA is an un-incorporated non-profit association and the membership has chosen not to register with the IRS.

Pesticide losses: several members were devastated by pesticide spraying; and reported to the EPA.
